Salt breeze and hot air

I arrived in Dubrovnik today, and proceeded to immerse myself as quickly as possible in everything before leading a trip here that will start in 2 days. I only found out of this change, two days ago, due to a close loss in a close co-worker's family. Please keep her and her father and their family in your thoughts.

It is so beautiful, here. And I love the heat! I really am such a Florida boy. My heart swelled to see the sea today; to taste the salt on the air; to ride the waves at the bow of a ship; and to finally get SUMMER after months of a cool and wet spring!

(If you have missed it in the news, the Danube has been flooding. That makes for some interesting biking.)
