Amazing!!
I had another blog for today, but I have been overwhelmed with new information. In the last week, I have been doing lots of genealogical work, and found many interesting things. I have also had to enter the death dates for two of my relatives.
In addition, in the last two weeks, I have had the honor of meeting to new additions to our human family: Gracie Ann Crooks, and little Landon Johns, Jr have entered the world!
I have been accepted to two universities for my Masters in Social Work.
And finally, today, what pushed me over the top was that in an interview for a class I am taking for a pre-req, I learned that some people want to come to USA so badly that they will travel for 28 days, 2 of them across the dessert at night on foot, just to get here. How could you turn them away?

have you decided which university you'll be going to?
Exactly, how do we turn them away? People do not want to understand the horrors that others are willing to go through to live here, horrors both in getting here and somtimes the way they live while they are here. And still it is better than what they have in their native country. Why can't we help them? What would it really cost us as a nation to help? I have no idea what the political answer is, but the human answer is to help those in need. Ok, I'll stop now.
