Peace Corp's 50th Anniversary

Sargent Shriver passed away a few weeks ago, before seeing the 50th birthday of the organization that he helped to create. If you want to honor his legacy, or support existing volunteers, or to promote the work of the Peace Corps, or to build peace through small projects around the world, I fully support doing it here.

Peace Corps Partnership grants (which I have touted before) allow you to choose the project you want to support and 100% of your donation goes directly to that project. They are small and they all have at least 25% of local community support usually through in-kind labor or supplies, so your financial contribution goes a long way.
